Database/Feedback & Search component errors

I've just migrated to a new server and have not had these problems before...I would appreciate any help anyone can give. There are two problems, the first is...

When I use the FrontPage search component on a page...the message comes back: FrontPage Error.

the second problem is with capturing data...

If I select from a form, save to a file...the default confirmation form doesn't appear on the screen rather the FrontPage Error message appears and no data is sent to the file.

If I select from a form, save to database (and the database is created), I do get the default confirmation page; and if I use a custom confirmation (asp), I get the custom confirmation HOWEVER, no data is passed to the Access file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bill

What kind of server is the new server? Is it a Windows server that supports
ASP and Access databases?

Yes, I was told that it would support FrontPage as it is a Windows server. Actually the asp pages and database parts work the majority of the time...not 100%.

Thanks for your inquiry and I hope you might have a suggestion as I'm not getting any assistance from my provider.

If you provider is not providing the support you need, then it is time to switch web host.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

It's good to hear from you again, Tom...I need to hang in there until the end of the school quarter as I use the site for students' work. Then I'm out of there...

Thanks,
Bill
