Does anyone know a good web site which tells me how to protect database
data? e.g. hot stand-by machine. I am looking at the low cost. Thanks.

You can use Microsoft Access. Then, encrypt the password. You can also setup groups to control access. It's as simple as clicking the encrypt button on one of the menus.
