I am using FrontPage 2003 SP2 and can not get the Data Source Catalog or any
pull down under Insert > Database except Result to be active (all are grey
type). I only got the Result to be active after installing the Plug In -
FrontPage Database Interrogator. I'm sure I have done something stupid
during the installation, but I've reinstalled FrontPage with all features
activated without effect.

I would appreciate any help.

The Data View Web Part is available only when working with a Web site based
on Windows SharePoint Services within FrontPage 2003.

What is "Plug In - FrontPage Database Interrogator"? Where did you find
this?

I got the Plug In at
http://www.microsoft.com/frontpage/d...in/default.asp. I was
trying to do anything to get the database options to work. I was trying to
follow an example in FrontPage Help and apparently got off track.
Thanks for your response.

The description says it's compatible with FP2002 - it could be compatible
with FP2003, but it doesn't say so. Also, when I click on the url for the
author, http://www.jmortoza.asp-world.co.uk/ I get a 404 Not found. Not a
good sign.

If your web site is hosted on a Windows Server that supports ASP and Access,
you can use the FrontPage Database Results Wizard to query your database and
produce ASP pages to display the results.
