I am Running XP Home. Problem is with Outlook 2000. I can open and use
Outlook but after a varying period of time (2 - 7 min.) I
get the following error message:

"Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience."

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.6604 ModName: fldpub.dll
ModVer: 9.0.3425.0 Offset: 00029435


1. I have run a complete updated AVG and Ad-Aware
2. I have messed with every possible time based switch in Outlook. E.g.
"Check for messages every" "Server time outs" on both my Telus account and
my Uniserve accounts and can not effect the when it shuts down.
3. I have done a Repair Office on both disk 1 & 2 Office 2000 Professional
Premium SR-1
4. Have done a MS Update SR-1A Office 2000
5. Service pack 2 Office "Cannot be applied"
6. Service pack 3 and every other way I come at this needs file
data1out.msi. It is not to be found on my hard drive or on Disc 1 or 2 of
Office 2000 Professional Premium SR-1.

Any suggestions would be intensely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think that you use the "Net Folders" feature. Please try disabling that
and see if that helps you get rid of the problem.
