Data Validation problem still remaining

it is working fine, but there is no validation, its showing the list,
but there is no validation, I can type any thing in the data
validation cell. which is not required.


If I give the range in the Source field in the data validation dialog
box, then it is working correctly, if I put the formula which is
=list, then it is not working.


I hope that you understand my problem, or if you have any

I also checked Arrer Alert Tab, the check is Tiked.

I am facing this problem only this file, If I made the same function
in new file then it is working.

As answered in your previous thread:

If there is a blank cell in the named range, any entry will be allowed
in the cells with data validation.

To prevent this, in the data validation dialog box, remove the check
mark from 'Ignore Blank'

Or, to avoid blank cells at the end of the range, you can use a dynamic
range, as described here:

Thank you I got the solution. there was some balank cells......
