Data>Vaildation>List works in Sheet1, but does not in Sheet2; Why

I do not get the drop down list in sheet2; I get it in Sheet1 and it works
correctly; Sheet 2 is a large Excel file (1500 rows). could it be related to
size of sheet? is there a configuration parameter to remedy this?

Is the Sheet2 DV trying to use a list in Sheet1? If so, you need to use a
Defined name and use that name in the DV.
