Hi. I am trying to analyze a client's sales data in Access but it was
provided in an tab deliminted top-to-bottom format rather than right-to-left.
E.g. there are sales amount in the first record, tab delimited out for all
transactions; cost of materials in the second record; invoice in the third
record; etc., etc. I need these to read as fields - can anyone give me a
solution to my quandry.

Thanks in advance.

I'd import it into Excel and analyse it there.
At the very least, it will be easier to sort and output a reformatted csv
file from there.

Steve -

THanks for the suggestion but the volume of data is way past Excel's
capabilities - over 100,000 records. Any other ideas?
