Here are a few things to try:
1. Open My Computer
Click Tools tab
Click Folder Options
Click View tab
Check "Show hidden files and folders"
Uncheck "Hide extensions..."
Uncheck "Hide protected..."
Search for the files by name (Start/Search)
2. Contact HP for assistance (probably unable to help)
