It should be simple - select my columns and use the Wizard for a basic
chart. But I can't get the data columns to show up!! I've got two
columns - Col. A lists various metals, Col. B lists the parts per million
(ppm). I select both columns, walk through the Wizard, and wind up with a
chart that lists all the metals across the bottom, a values scale up the
left side - and *NO* vertical bars showing the ppm! granted, my scale is
0-350 in increments of 50, and some of these values are below 10. But some
are well above 150, and they don't show either. (Excel 2000, Win 2000)

Any help is appreciated.
Ed

Why not paste the data into a message and let us try. Or send me a private
message with an Excel attachment

Found out the "data" wasn't in any number format. The file was a converted
data dump, and Excel didn't recognize the "numbers" as valid. Copied into
Word as a table, then pasted back into Excel - bingo! Instant numbers.
