I have an excel file with tons of data, multiple sheets (~63MB in size). I
want to compile it into one sheet and make use of vlookup. But I encounter
the limit which one sheet cannot exceed 65536 lines...appreciate any
suggestions ^_^

The simplest of tips would be switching to Excel 2007.

But to be fair, is Excel really the one tool you need, or might a database
program better solve the case ?

I find myself in this situation quite often and whilst I have access
to Excel 2007 I still think the easiest solution is to import the
data into a database (Typically MS Access or SQL Server) and then use
a join rather than VLookup to solve the problem

This will also quickly expose any issues in your data
