Reinstall the data lifeguard garbage. It has to be recognized at boot-up and
when you formatted the primary drive, you got rid of the bit that recognizes
it, but it's still installed on the 2nd drive. You probably didn't need it,
by the way. You could try removing it from the 2nd drive, but if you do that
wrong you could lose all the data on the drive.
