Do you have a desktop search tool operating? How about a PDA or phone sync
tool?

I have the same problem, exactly the same, with my Outlook 2007 (no upgrade,
I buyed the Office 2007 standard edition), I wroted a post and she said to me
is a problem with an anti virus I, have a McAfee upgraded daily, I dont know
what I can do with this mistake advisor every time when I start the program,
and this problem it happend only since 15 o 20 days before no more, I see
wich the erased files they on the erased folder they stay there after you
erase them and I think this is the problem
