When I open Outlook 2007 lately, I almost always get the message that "A
data file did not close properly the last time it was used and is being
checked for problems". I always close Outlook using Exit form the File menu.
What is the problem? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is your antivirus program set to scan messages for viruses? If so, disable
that feature; it's not really necessary. Also see if there are any add-ins
that might be keeping Outlook open in the background.
