I have created a series of Data access pages to be used as data entry points.
What I want to do is set the defualt for each of these pages to be a NEW
RECORD, instead of a the first record in the database.

Is there any way to do that?

Could you set the data source as null and still have the page write new data
to the correct database?

Set the DataEntry entry property for the page to True.

Newsgroup for Data Access Pages (or DAP):
microsoft.public.access.dataaccess.pages

On Google:

That worked, Thank you very much.

Now, one other thing, how do I make fields like "todays date" actually auto
populate with todays date (system date). I thought it was the "date", or
"date$" in the default data field, but that does nothing at all.
