I just replaced my power supply to try to solve a WIN2K
crash problem. New problem - at boot, the usually black
screen with the windows is starting up banner (just before
the color screen) has blocks of color present. When
windows boots, the screen image will vibrate and shift
every few seconds. Any thoughts?

Video card or motherboard going south. Vid card would be my first choice.

I just replaced the MB and all was fine until I replaced
the power supply. New video card on order, so hopefully...

And you've ordered a video card, why? Worked fine until you replaced the
PS and now it doesn't work so fine? I think *I'd* replace that PS again
personally.

Be really interested in the outcome 8-)

Time out, You changed MB then PS or vice versa? Is the new PS lower
wattage than old PS? Is the Power req for the NEW MB greater than old
MB. Was this a used PS by chance?

New higher wattage power supply, went from 300 to 400. I'm
also getting screen freezes now along with the dancing
images.

I was wondering about the PS. It's brand new so I expect
it to be OK and have been wondering about the video card
for a awhile anyway. Since I do desire a video upgrade
I'll see what happens after I add the new card.
Thanks
