Damage Registry how to fix it

Did you created an erd and select "also backup registry to
%systemroot%\repair\regback?
If so, you can use recovery console to replace the failed registry from that
backup folder.
Dis you back up the system state?
If so, you can restore the registry from there.
If the registry is simply "too large", you can use chkreg and compact it.
You can also use recovery console to copy the %systemroot%\repair files to
%systemroot%\system32\config, but this would only return your system to a
time when it was first installed.
