On a daily basis I can not open my outlook 7 email

On a daily basis I can not open my outlook 7 email, I can go to the email
screen but I can not get emails, the top of the screen says not responding.
At least 8 times out of ten when I send an email it stays in mt outbox. The
only way to send the email is to restart my computer. I have downloaded the
service pack 1 for office. I have uninstalled and reinstalled outlook 7.
PLEASE ANY IDEAS ON THIS ISSUE????

Did you mean Outlook 2007? What version do you really have?

When you close Outlook, does it really terminate properly? Check the
Task Manager (tab Processes) if Outlook does close completely.
