Many apologies if this is a question that's been asked before

Have recently bought an Epson D120

Can anyone tell me how to change the language settings from German to
English

Have tried reloading software (including setting Language as English)

The printer is no longer working and the warning messages (in German) aren't
helping me (Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsche - as you can tell!

Any help much appreciated.

Many thanks for the reply - bit beyond me though (not a printer expert)

Sounds like Epson have made a big mistake here (imagine selling something
with the wrong language on it)

Also the thing only worked for about a week

Can anyone recommend another printer?

Cheers

Many thanks for this
Unfortunately I've already downloaded the manual - another problem, it's a
zipped file which when unzipped is a mass of html files, GIFs, JPEgs etc.
wading through some of the net files I managed to get to some form of
index - no mention of language settings
Epson haven't doen very well here, when you ship products in the wrong
language, and when even your help files need help files its time perhaps to
have a rethink on your customer service.
Frustrated! ((

If you bought from Epson you should have no trouble
registering your purchase and obtaining either a printed
manual or (by email) instructions how to change display language.

Bought from PC World - large chain here in the UK
Had problems registering it online - Epson have made nothing about this
product easy!
I've managed to access the downloaded manual (took a while wading through
the various files) - no obvious mention of language settings
Thinking of putting an axe through it (or perhaps "ein" axe)

Thanks for the reply
Ironically we have visited Germany a lot over the years and I've tried hard
to learn German
Not enough German unfortunately to understand technical error messages on
unreliable printers though.
In fairness, most people in the UK wouldn't understand the messages even if
they were in English
Perhaps its better that they are in a genuine foreign language rather than
the technobabble that passes for helpful instructions.
Best go - I'm sounding bitter and twisted now!
