D-Link EBR-2310 Router Triggered Port Forwarding Peculiarity

D-Link calls triggered port forwarding "Application Rules." Their
manual says that a trigger port can be a single port number or a
range. Thus, when I put in a single port number like 554, then
"save", it works OK. However, when I go back to this screen to add
or edit a port config, then save, a random number is appended, like
554-10254. Inputting a range like 554-554 works, but, when again
retrieving the page, deletes the 2nd 554. This means that another
edit will again append the random port number unless this number is
added manually to each entry.

Has anyone experienced this phenomenon or is my unit defective?
Thanks!

D-Link says that this is a problem and a firmware fix is underway.
The work-around is to enter single port numbers as a range, e.g.,
554-554.
