When installing the DFE 550 TX ethernet card I get a code
31 error that says windows cannot load. I also get the
following error message. "The INF device information set
or element does not match or support the specified
install class." Help! Can someone help me figure out how
to install this card on my WIN 2k system???

Do whatever you have to do to uninstall it and try again from the
beginning. I have that same card in the box I'm on now, had NO
problems with it since I built the system. I'm not currently using
the card, I now have a wireless card, but I'll be putting it to use as
a crossover to hook my old box to the net eventually.

Thanks Mike, I've tried that but will again. The card
works on this XP machine but when I try to transfer it to
another computer it doesn't work.
