How do you make the headphones jack work on the D:

Plug them in would be one first action to take.
Headphones will work on any cd-rom/DVD drive as long as
they are plugged in properly and you turn the small
volume control button on the front of the "D" drive.

If you're asking about listening to C: drive files thru the CD
phonejack, I believe there's a jumper cable that has to be connected
between your sound card and the D: device.
