cyclic redundancy

I followed one the tips regarding installation where you copy the CD to
the hard drive. Problem: when copying I get the error message 'cyclic
redundancy'. It seems to be a CAB file that does not want to be copied.
Is there any way around it?

Hi Thomas,

Try the CD on another system's CD drive. If you get the same
error, check the CD for any dirt deposits or scratches.
