I read this in a magazine, they suggest that Adware/Spyware dll files may
well be hidden and before you run adaware or similar you should use the cmd
prompt to look for and remove hidden dll files....
Open a cmd prompt window and change directory to the windows directory, then
type:
C:\windows "dir /s/a:h/d *.dll" (without the prompts) then you can use
windows explorer with the view set to show hidden files to remove/move or
rename any files that are suspect, after that using Adaware or Spybot should
clear the problem.
Hope that helps, you can type dir /? to list the options if you wish.
