i.e. when I open control panel or ANY SIMILAR WINDOW THAT
HAS A COMPARABLE "VIEW" PULL DOWN, I always want ALL of
them to open in the "LISTS" format.

Selecting lists from the view pull down and then finding
what I need and closing the window DOES NOT save my
preference for always opening in a view format. Now, they
always open in the icon format and I want to change that.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Hi

Set Windows Explorer how you want it, then go to Tools>Folder Options>View
and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Restart WE.
