Anyone know if it is possible to customize the GAL properties page? This
is the one when you open the Address Book, select an entry, and double-
click (or right-click / Properties). Thanks!

As far as I can tell, no.

If we are talking about the Exchange GAL, yes. Steps for Exchange 2003:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123970(EXCHG.65).aspx

Exchange 2007:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232094(EXCHG.80).aspx

And if you need more help, I'd head to microsoft.public.exchange.admin (or
..administration, whichever it's called).

If you're talking about something else, clarify a little.

Well, I never claimed to know anything about Exchange. I was approaching
this from an Outlook perspective, since this is an Outlook newsgroup, not an
Exchange newsgroup. It can't be customized from within Outlook.

To Mr. Bray: apologies for the misstatement, but I did say "as far as I
know".

=) It happens. I only knew because I've done it in the past, back in the
5.0 timeframe. And heck, I'm only assuming it really is Exchange.
