To set all folders to the same view
1. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, set the view to your preference.
2.. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
3.. In the Folder Options dialog box, click the View tab, click on Apply to
all folders.

For arranging icons by your preference
Double click the drive and then go to View->Arrange icons and select your
preference.
Hold down the CTRL key and click the X in the upper right corner of the
window to close it.This will cause windows to remember the setting.
