I'm working with a PowerPoint created on 97-2003 and am using 2007.

1. All the bullets "diassapeared;" numbered lists are fine. On the
toolbar, the button is selected showing that there are bullets, but none are
visiable. Is this a master slide issue since I was able to change it there
and it carried over? My question on this is: is 2007 not backward
compatible even when the slideshow is saved as an older version (97-03)? I
can understand 97-03 not keeping all the formatting from 2007, but this
doesn't make sense to me. I've saved the slideshow as a 97-03 because I
share it with others.

2. I cannot cusomtomize any of the bullets. When I go into the bullet
dialog box, the display of choices shows 8 choices, None, a solid round
bullet, a hollow round bullet, five versions that have a text line but no
bullet. When click on "Customize" I can choose a symbol such as a windings
item and select it. I then click ok and go back to the first bullets
fromatting dialog box. The new selection does not appear. I've tried it
with the bullets that are there as well as the "blank" ones. Neither can I
change the image of the bullets on the master slide. Any ideas?

THANKS!

This will sound weird, but installing a known good printer driver and
setting it as default should fix you up.

Follow these instructions:
