Is there anyway to display all current tasks and all tasks with due dates in
the next 7 days? Customize only has the option of "All", "Today" and "Today
+ No Due Date". I want to see upcoming tasks but not all tasks.

If I understood you right it looks simple. while you are
viewing the task folder choose

1. the "active task" view, then....
2. "view>current view>customize current
view>filter>advanced>"

at the field choose "due date" and the value is the "next
7 days"
