I have opened the message form to customize it. I added some fields and
resized some boxes. I clicked on the properties tab and made sure the check
box was checked for send form definition. I saved the form and then published
the form. I can choose the form and fill in the fields and send the email to
myself. When I receive the email it is in standard message form, my form is
not used. If I check the send form definition box is'nt this suppose to send
the form properties as I set them up? Please advise.
Thanks

Outlook version?

Did you click the Edit Read Layout button to create a read layout?

You have to force Outlook to use the TNEF wrapper to send custom forms
and their data. Open the recipient's contact form. Select the email
address field, right-click it, and choose properties. In Office
Systems 2003 Outlook, there is a drop-down list-box that says Internet
format. Choose the 'Always send in rtf format' line. If your outlook
is Older, there is a check box on the bottom that is labeled much the
same. Make sure it is checked.
