How to customize CD directory appearance?

I know how to customize the appearance of a folder by adding a background
picture. However I'd like to do it for a CD: when the CD icon is
double-clicked, its directory window opens with a background picture.
Obviously it must be done before burning the CD.

I searched Microsoft knowledge base with all kinds of search words but
couldn't find any article on the subject. Does anybody know how to do it, or
can anybody point me to some instructions?
