Customization of Desktop Background restricted by Administrator

Hi.
My company's administrator has installed one general
desktop background for everyone. I don't know how he has
taken away the rights from power users. I want to break
away from that. Can I change that using some technique ?
I'm using Windows XP professional.

Hi Pat,

This can be changed rather easily. Have you asked them to allow you to make
these changes?
