Customised motion in Photostory 3

I am making a slideshow in Photostory 3. I don't like the customised motion
the program is automatically giving my slides - in fact I don't want any
motion at all! Is there any way to set defaults for the whole show, without
having to edit each slide individually to change the "start point", "end
point", "duration" etc? The program doesn't seem to be intuitive and take
the hint from my manual changes to one slide, to apply to the following ones.
Thanks for any help, or other suggestions.

Maybe the following free download will be useful:

TweakPS

Thanks John. I have already installed TweakPS some time ago and although it
improves the basic program in a lot of ways (burn to DVD not being the least
of them!!) it doesn't fix this particular bugbear.
Still hoping!

Me again. It occurred to me that there may be a newer version of Tweak and
it seems from the website that it has been updated. I'll give that a try.
Thanks!

Sorry about this but the plot thickens further!

After downloading the new version of Tweak (1.0.4) I sent the following
email to their website - which is self-explanatory:

I installed TWEAKPhotostory 1.0.2 a long time ago - thought it had
integrated into Photostory and did not have to run separately. I only use
the program every so often but my last photostory (I thought with integrated
1.0.2.) worked well, but I have forgotten how I did it! I have now been
investigating how to universally remove customised motion in a new
Photostory and downloaded Tweak 1.0.4, which I see does run separately.

When running 1.0.4 to remove motion I get a message that my file is "not a
cabinet". I am also told that V.1.0.2 has expired when I try to run that.
I have uninstalled V.1.0.2. I am totally confused and the FAQ etc are
confusing me even more! Could you please help. I am running on Windows
XP home edition.

The email has been returned as undeliverable, so I am throwing this into the
mix and hoping you can throw some light on this for me. Sorry for doing
this so painfully!

I'm not sure what you are talking about because
TweakPS has absolutely *nothing* to do with
burning DVDs.

And yes...TweakPS *will* remove motion from
a PhotoStory WP3 Project file. maybe you have
it confused with something else?

Good grief Christine...don't go ballistic.

TweakPS works on the .wp3 project files...
(as shown in the screenshot on the website)
not the completed .wmv movie files.

Thank you, thank you, thank you - it has worked for me too!

I apologise for my "ballisticity" which was probably caused by number one,
pathetic ignorance, and number two, going round in circles for around 3 days!
Thanks for your patience.

Success at last! Excellent! And...no apology
required...aren't computers just tons of fun?

You're welcome and thanks for the feedback.

Hi
I've been trying to find that tweak that you have listed for a few hours now
and most all of the links that I can find have not been working so far-says
the page is maybe deleted or whatever (can't remember the comment) Even Papa
Johns website says unable to connect. Your conversation is very current date
wise--so maybe you can help me out with a valid link--I have tried the one
you listed and it is not working for me either. If it still works for you
then maybe the server was down all night but I would really like this tweak
as I have manually been readjusting all my timings for a project I'm doing
for work and it is very tedious. There is no way to change the default time
initially is there, maybe I just can't find it?

Thanks in advance
