Custom Totals in Pivot Tables

Hi:

I have a database that includes a number of brands and markets. For
each brand and market there are several fields containing various
types of sales data - volume, dollar sales, dollar profit, etc.

I want to create several pivot table reports from this data. On at
least one of the reports I have a need to create totalsof the sales
data for a specific group of the brands. I am new to pivot tables and
have not been successful in using grouping or subtotals to accomplish
this.

Does anyone have a suggested solution?
