I recently taught a short class on PowerPoint. One person asked if
it's possible to customize the timings on a slide for a given custom
slide show. My impression is that the timing information is stored
with the slide, so it will be the same regardless of which custom
slide show it's in. Is this right?

I'm sure a short macro could reset the timings for a slide, but I'm
also sure the guy with the question doesn't want to delve into VBA to
do this.

Yeah, the slide is the slide. He'd have to create a duplicate of it for
the second custom show.
