I'm using custom shows, but the window showing the slides in the
presentation and the slides in the custom show is too small for me to
tell exactly which slides are in the custom show and their order. Is
there some way to make this window bigger or an add-in to solve the
problem?

Only thing I can think of is changing your desktop display settings via
Windows control panel. Maybe try using Large Fonts or perhaps just changing
your resolution back to 800x600.
