The default shortcut menu for an access form includes a selection called
filter for along with a text box. I would like to include this command (and
text box) on a custom shortcut menu, but I am unable to locate the command.
How can I add this feature to a custom shortcut menu?

It can be found using Tools, Customize. Display the contextmenu toolbar
and look in Form, Control for Formview.
You should be able to copy that item to a custom context menu using
drag & drop and the control key.
