Cannot apply customized Numbered Outline to a Table of Contents. It worked in
the past on same PC, now only applies one level even though TOC is in 3
levels. I am trying to apply I, a, 1 as the three levels with a different
indent on each.

Apply it to your heading styles, as described at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numb...Numbering.html. Then
update the table of contents, for example by right-clicking it and
choosing Update Field from the context menu.

Unless the OP actually wants the numbering applied just to the TOC, in which
case the numbering (still per Shauna's article) should be applied to the TOC
1-3 styles.
