1) Yes, the recipient needs to have ADUC installed also, otherwise the MMC
is pointing to something that does not exist.
2) Read

can do a custom install of the admin tools. I did a quick read through and
it looks like Active Directory Domains and Trusts & Active Directory Sites
and Services get installed with Active Directory Users and Computers.
