Please can someone answer this question and offer any advice.

I have created a custom MMC console. This uses active directory users and
computers snap-in. I have sent this by e-mail to a user that does not have
the adminpak installed. They get an error "snap-in failed to initialise".

Does the user need adminpak.msi installed? Can I just install the aduc snap
in? How do I do that?

1) Yes, the recipient needs to have ADUC installed also, otherwise the MMC
is pointing to something that does not exist.
2) Read http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;314978. You
can do a custom install of the admin tools. I did a quick read through and
it looks like Active Directory Domains and Trusts & Active Directory Sites
and Services get installed with Active Directory Users and Computers.
