Custom Form Error Page

I want to use a custom validation failure page on a FrontPage form. I can
see where to enter the address of the page in Form Options/Confirmation
Page, but what is the code needed to insert the fields that have failed
validation? I can't find the default field to copy over the essential bit
that will say what has been filled incorrectly, with my own text before and
after.

Any help would be much appreciated.

TIA
Steve

Hi Steve,

It does not work that way. FP validation occurs before the form is submitted
not on the confirmation page.

I appreciate that, but when a field fails validation, FP sends an error page
listing the field(s) that failed validation and why. According to the Form
Option/Confirmation Page option, you can enter a custom error page "page
displayed when the user's input fails the validation scripts. A default page
is provided.". What I'm trying to do is provide a custom error page using
the site's them, so that instead of a blank white page with the error
message, the user gets something more professional looking. However, I can't
find the default error page to copy the webbot, or whatever, into my custom
page so that it lists the field(s) that failed validation. It shows the
error page, no problem - but it's no use unless the user knows what fields
failed.
