Custom Folders - Outlook 2003

I want to create a custom folder that finds emails from a specific email and
which has been recieved today.

How can I do this?? It sounds so easy but the custom folder I create keeps
staying empty...

Generally you create rules that move incoming mail to a specific folder
based eg on the from address

You are using Search Folders for this?
Which conditions have you set now?

Generally you wouldn't want this ;-)
Search Folders are a better approach for this which I think the OP means
with "Custom Folders".
