More a limitation of those controls that are basically private to the
Outlook application. It also turns out that email and telephone
formatting are the first things to be lost if you try to customize the
General (first) tab of the contact form. So, it is no surprise that
the special formatting ability is lost when you copy the controls to a
custom form. Remember, you aren't copying the code that lies behind
the form that does the special formatting.
