CURSOR FILES GONE MISSING!

HI,
Can anyone help, in my mouse properties box under the pointers tab, when
i try
to choose a different scheme windows say that the files are missing or
corrupt? I have uninstalled and re-installed to no avail. i have installed
the latest intellipoint and i have tried to replace the files through command
prompt but cannot find the right path? anybody got any ideas. xp home sp2
