Curser Shoots Off the Screen

's Computer Specifications

Can any one tell me what makes my curser (mouse pointer)
shoot off the screen when I am online? Or a lot of the
time it will move up or down on it's own! How can I fix
it?

if it is an optical mouse try a printer paper under it..
