Why are the icons in the navigation pane being corrupted after some time ?
(Outlook 2003 SP3)

The icon graphics become corrupted by a white square covering a part of the
icon. Is the icon cache overwritten somehow? If yes, by what??

Thanks

and regards

Which icons exactly? The actual Navigation Pane buttons, the folder list
icons, the icons in the Shortcut Navigation?
Does a restart of Outlook and/or Windows fixes it for you?

Sorry for not replying before. Have been away.
It all icons in the navigation pane which are currupted: it's all icons in
the "Favorite folders", and all icons in "All Mail Folders" both standard
icons (Inbox, Sent Items etc) and all icons in Mail folders I have made.

A restart fixes it but, but kind of solutions do not satisfy someone like me
:-) ....

Best Regards..

You can clear your icon cache by using this PowerToy for Windows XP;
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

Clear the cache and see if the issue returns.

I cannot find this function in Tweak UI to clear Outlook icon cache. The
only function I can find is "Repair"->"Rebuild Icons", but this is Explorer
icons.

Thanks and regards,
