I have two notebooks. There were 5 Critical updates for the WinXP were:
KB913446; 911564; 890830; 911565 and 911927. My other notebook has WinXPmedia
edition (both SP2) and there were only 4 Critical updates: KB913466; 890830;
911565 and 911927. No KB 911564.
Would anyone know the reason for this? Why wasn't the KB 911564 downloaded to
the 2nd notebook?
Thanks for any help.

If Windows Updates does not detect that the computer needs it then either
the update does not apply to that operating system or it is already
installed on the computer. You can look in Control Panel/Add and Remove
Programs to see installed updates after making sure that "show updates" is
selected. You can also use the free MBSA from Microsoft to check a computer
for missing updates. --- Steve

Thank you.
Would anyone know what KB 911564 refers to? It is a critical update for
what? Thank you.
