He's been around before...he probably just has the date on his machine set incorrectly.
If not he should know that that technique is frowned upon.

I get this occasionally, but simply refreshing the web (F5 key) brings the
folders back into view.
IIS6 on Win2003
IIS5.1 on WinXP

Never happened (yet) on Apache sites or Disc based webs.

sometimes, when I get a similar problem, the little refresh icon on the
toolbar does it.
