Curious behavior with HP printers

We recently installed two new XPsp2 computers and two HP Color
Laserjet 3600n printers for a client. While both PCs were set up
identically, one of them is having printing issues that the other is
not.

The printers are each set up via their network port and hosted off of
a print server. The problem pc is unable to print to any of the HP
printers that are on the network. When attempting to print a test
page, an error pops up instantly saying that it was unable to print,
and would you like to start troubleshooting.

The problem doesn't seem to lie with the printer, as other users are
able to print to it across the network without problems.

The pc in question is also able to connect to the server across the
network, and is able to print to a Konica printer without any
problems.

I have tried uninstalling the printers from both the PC and the Print
Server, and also installing a local copy of the printer on the PC
printing directly to the IP address. In all cases, we are using the
most recent LJ3600 drivers available on the HP site.

Is there anyone who has run into a similar problem and been able to
resolve it?

I have the same issue at home with two PCs and an HP L7680 aio printer.
I can see the printer with the correct IP address on both PCs, and the
printer can see both PCs, but only one will print.

Does anyone know how to get the second PC to print?
