If you are programming, in Word, Notepad etc, that pressing Ctrl + Shift then
an arrow key highlights a word.

Everytime you tap an arrow key it highlights the following word. This is
really handy for me, however! On this laptop, there is a one second delay
when using the shortcut?!

ONLY Ctrl + Shift shortcuts though. Shift and an arrow key selects single
letters, this works fine.

Any ideas?

I've tried:

- Reinstalling keyboard driver
- Checking Accessibility options (Sticky keys, filter keys etc).
- Updates drivers, reinstalling drivers etc

I'm kind of out of options...

Any help would be nice!

To also update:

I've closed all processors that weren't necessary to see if that could have
been causing the problem.

An anti-spyware/virus scan.

Still no luck.
