That Ctrl+Alt+plus sign was a great trick. On my laptop I had to hit the
NumLock button (I don't have a separate number pad), but that did it.
OK I was able to select that shortcut, then hit remove. So now, Word doesn't
think I want to review changes etc. etc. However, when I am in Word, Word
still doesn't know that I want to go to my Encarta search bar. In Explorer,
in any folder, this shortcut combo will insert the cursor in that bar. But
in Word, nothign happens. This isn't the end of the world--I can always just
move the cursor to the bar, before I start typing, but I'd love to be able
to do this from within Word, via a shortcut. Is there anything I can do
about this?
