CTRL-F (Find) quit working after 6-months of working properly

Until I made major changes recently, users forms all supported using CTRL-F
to popup the built-in Find box, from within almost ANY form field.....

Fiddling with Tools-Options-Edit/Find, I got it to work again BRIEFLY --
then it quit working again.

The new changes were probably made using Access 2003, while the original mdb
was developed with Access 2000.

Any ideas ?
